  • Learn about the Cross Church School of Ministry: Jeff Crawford from the Cross Church School of Ministry in Springdale, Arkansas, is hosting a free lunch on Tuesday, March 1, at 11:30 a.m. in the President’s Reception Room, sponsored by Boyce College.   • Proper Paper Formatting — How to Use the Templates: Learn how to use the library’s paper and book review templates to save time and effort on your next assignment. Attendees will be entered in to win free books. Meets in Crismon Hall in the lower level of the library. For more information, see here.

  • SWI Seminar Saturday: The Seminary Wives Institute’s 10th annnual Seminar Saturday will be held in the Legacy Hotel and Conference Center March 12, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Attendees choose in advance from five different one-hour seminars on a myriad of topics. The fee is $25 until March 4 and includes Chick-fil-A lunch. Pre-registration and payment are required. No child care is available. Church groups are welcome. Details are available here. 
  • Plummer to deliver Commonweal luncheon lecture: Robert L. Plummer, professor of New Testament interpretation at Southern Seminary, will present a Commonweal lecture on Wednesday, March 30, 11:30 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. titled “Dr. Seuss and Divine Oracles: Economic Lessons in Wisdom Literature.” Lunch is free for the first 60 students, faculty, and staff in Heritage Hall. Please register here. The first 20 people to RSVP receive an 8GB USB drive.
  • Donate books: Southern Seminary will be hosting a used book sale during T4G for pastors, students, and gospel leaders, April 11-15. Please donate Christian books to help complete our bookstore. The donation drop-off is located in the Lifeway book store in the Honeycutt Campus Center. The deadline for all donations is April 1. For large donations or questions, please contact Lindsay Edwards
  • Get your first glimpse of Boyce College: Join us for Boyce Preview on Friday, April 29. Prospective students and families will spend the day touring campus, meeting professors, attending a class, and having a Q & A with Dan DeWitt and Albert Mohler. All guests will be provided with a complimentary lodging for two nights and a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship. Visit here for more information and to register.
  • Submitting announcements for Towers Weekly: Note the Towers Weekly email is distributed by the Communications office. You can submit announcements that have been approved by your department’s vice president or dean to the Communications office or Becky Williams by noon each Friday.
