  • Dever to deliver Mullins Lectures: Mark Dever, senior pastor of Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., will deliver the Mullins Lectureship on Preaching Feb. 23-25. Dever is a Southern Seminary alumnus and the president of 9Marks Ministries. The schedule for the lecture series is below:
    – Tuesday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. | Alumni Memorial Chapel
    – Wednesday, Feb. 24, 10 a.m. | Broadus Chapel
    – Thursday, Feb. 25, 10 a.m. | Alumni Memorial Chapel
  • Library Research 102 — Find the Right Articles: Learn to find scholarly articles for research papers at this library workshop. Plus, attend and enter to win free books. The workshop meets in Crismon Hall in the lower level of the library. More information is available here.
    – Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1 – 2 p.m. and 4 – 5 p.m.
    – Wednesday, Feb. 24, 10 – 11 a.m.
  • SWI Seminar Saturday: The Seminary Wives Institute’s 10th annnual Seminar Saturday will be held in the Legacy Hotel and Conference Center March 12, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.  Attendees choose in advance from five different one-hour seminars on a myriad of topics. The fee is $25 until March 4 and includes Chick-fil-A lunch. Pre-registration and payment are required. No child care is available. Church groups are welcome. Details are available here. 
  • Doxology Vocal Ensemble open auditions: Auditions are open during all of March for male and female vocalists for the Doxology Vocal Ensemble for the 2016-17 academic year. Any SBTS student with vocal experience is invited to audition. For more information or to schedule an audition, please contact Chuck T. Lewis
  • May graduation requirements: Graduates who would like to purchase academic regalia (cap, gown, hood, etc.) must do so by March 15. Orders may be placed at the LifeWay Campus Store or through Herff Jones at (502) 240-0505. For help with capsize measurements, please contact LifeWay Campus Store at (502) 897-4506.
    Rental regalia will be ordered for graduates based on the sizing information submitted on the graduation application. For any questions about rental regalia, please contact Nicole Pearson. All regalia will be available for pick-up the week of graduation.
  • Submitting announcements for Towers Weekly: Note the Towers Weekly email is distributed by the Communications office. You can submit announcements that have been approved by your department’s vice president or dean to the Communications office or Becky Williams by noon each Friday.
