Southern Seminary Preview Day

Theological training is essential to gospel ministry.

Where you receive training is just as important. As you consider God’s call on your life, we want to give you the opportunity to experience Southern Seminary during Preview Day on October 13th, 2017

Meet Faculty

As you consider Southern Seminary, it is important to us that you get to know the faculty under whom you will study. Preview Day guests will hear from Southern Seminary President R. Albert Mohler Jr about preparing for ministry, and have other faculty lectures throughout the day. Besides gaining helpful information about degree program and practical issues, we will worship and pray together as we seek to honor the Lord in our obedience to him.

Learn About Southern

Two questions many people have when counting the cost for seminary is, “How will I pay for it? What type of employment opportunities exist?” Built into our information fair is a time where we present opportunities for employment, how our ministry referral office works, and different approaches to paying for seminary. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn about degree programs, connect with local businesses and find out about on-campus resources at the fair.

See The Campus

We look forward to hosting you on a tour with a well-trained guide to explain the history and heritage of our school. We also realize that housing is at the top of many people’s priority list. For this reason we have optional time for a campus housing tour where you will see different on campus housing options with varying floor plans, locations, and accommodations depending on your needs.

Enjoy Dinner with Faculty

The faculty dinner is great time for you to enjoy a wonderful meal and converse with faculty, student ambassadors, and other prospective students. After dinner, you’re invited to an informal Q & A time with Dr. Mohler. This time, along with the dessert reception at the Mohlers’ home, allows him to share some of his personal life and gives great insight into his vision for Southern Seminary.
